Maxim's Got Talent (Youth Competition) says
This is the only family oriented event in the city that focuses on youth talent. We're offering a $100 cash prize to the first place winner in each category. We're looking for talented youth between the ages of 9 - 20. We want talent in every area imaginable including: dance, music, singing, rapping, comedy, you name it.

We are providing judges from the community who have excelled in their areas of expertise. These judges will provide feedback to help further along the futures of our youth in their areas of interest.

Our goal is to:
1. Highlight the many talents of the 9 - 20 year old persons.
2. Create opportunities where families can spend quality time together.
3. Build community unity while bridging the generational and gender gaps.

There is a $5 cover charge and $10 cover for adult only section.

Contestants will be judged on the following:
1. Skill
2. Ability To Promote
3. Crowd Response
4. Originality
5. Community development

Meet our 4 judges:

Ledonia Davis of Carte Blanche Entertainment Group, known throughout the community to bring in some of the best talent from around the world into the community to provide feedback and create contract opportunities for up and coming artists

Catherina Brown, president of Styles of Steppin'- Seattle. Catherina created her own dance school, and started the only Chicago stepping in the entire The Pacific Northwest.

Chocolat Chi, a comedian all the way from Chicago, Illinois. Chocolat Chi has traveled the world over perfecting her craft. Also, she has opened from some of the most talented entertainers in the music industry, as well as hosted Open mic for numerous venues surrounding various talents. Funny and honest, she will provide the best feedback for comedians, poets, and other talented artists.

Dennis Jimerson, has traveled to Hawaii and other countries to compete for BURLESQUE, Lip Sync Battle, and other competitions. Head of the Dynasty family, Dennis has trained countless artists to perfect their craft and compete for competitions worth over $4000 in cash and prizes.

This is a family event so we will disqualify any performances with profanity or degrading lyrics towards any gender/sex, culture, etc. The use of the word "Nigga" or any derivative of the word disqualifies your performance. All you have to do is provide name and age. Upon arrival or sooner, bring proof of age and provide $25 registration fee. Remember this is a first come first serve basis, and we are only accepting 20 participants. Inbox us for registration in the following age groups:
