Join WELL|AWAKE for a casual group meditation! This week we'll meet in the industrial chic openess of Makers, Belltown's innovative coworking space for Seattle techies and creative contractors alike. We'll sit for a 25 minute guided meditation and save space to chat before and after class. There aren't any levels or pre-requisites. You don't have to be dressed a certain way or in the perfect mood. We're keeping it simple; just join in and observe what happens.

Mindfulness Meditation will turn an old notion on its head: Meditation isn't silencing your mind! It's about increasing awareness. Awareness of your breathing, your world, your physical body, your thoughts. We observe, with as little judgment as possible, without trying to find reasons why, solutions for or explanations of. We just observe. Easier said than done? Yes. Worth every second? Absolutely.
