Mo' Jam Mondays says
Mo' Jam Mondays is joining the first Make Music Seattle day (along with 700 cities worldwide) and bringing our creative community to Occidental Park in historic Pioneer Square!

This is our chance to have a Fun Day in the Sun Day!
It's also Fathers' Day, summer solstice, AND Morgan Gilkeson's Birthday! How many reasons do you need to grab your instruments, art stuff, and your crew to come down and play at one of the best tourist spots in the city?!?
Hey, comedians and poets are invited too! Coordinated by Mo' Jams comic host Travis Simmons.

We also invite you to bring your merchandise and flyers to share with park-goers.

The Seattle City of Music and Seattle Parks & Recreation Busker Program department are setting us up with a tent and electricity, and we plan to have a sound system ready to go.

8:30-9pm will feature a performance by local Soul Punk band Down North.

This is our chance to show park-goers how our Mondays go down...And it could become an annual event!

See you there!

"Join the worldwide celebration of music on June 21!
Make Music is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 700 cities in 120 countries.
Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion — pours onto streets, parks, plazas, and porches to share their music with friends, neighbors, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public."
