The intention of AstroCircle is to empower folks who aren't astrologers, as well as those who are, to use the current astrological weather consciously. We'll use lecture, experiential exercises, story telling, personal reflection and discussion to explore the magic of the stars, the soul and authentic living.

This month, join us as we take a look at my personal favorite planet: Uranus! Even the word makes us flinch a bit, or maybe just chuckle. Such a reaction is indicative of the nature of the Uranian archetype: liberation from the norm, an introduction to the truly weird, and freedom from conditioning. Sometimes, however, that freedom comes at a price.

In this introduction to the outer planets, we will take a closer look at Uranus, Aquarius and the 11th house by looking at:
~the ways social movements that coincide with the discovery of the planet help us to understand what it represents

~The significance of Uranus in the collective today

~Uranus' significance as a trauma signature in the chart

~ it's relationship to Jung's theory of individuation.

We'll also explore the ways in which the placement of Uranus in your own chart can indicate where you get to choose a new mythology for yourself, with the potential of activating new ways of thinking within society.

As always, there will be space for questions and explorations of all things astrological, so come and hang out. And bring your chart if you have it!
