Show Description - Hades hates Hell. He’s always longed for his own throne on Olympus – and he’s finally ready to make that dream a reality. But when the gods choose to elevate a mortal instead of Hades, things get a little more complicated. Join us for an evening of laughter, scheming, and brand-new musical theater. Watch the pantheon as we know it come crashing down in the new musical comedy, Olympus: The Musical!

Producer bio -

Walker Caplan (Book and Lyrics) is thrilled to create new work with the folks at the Pocket Theater. She’s performed around Seattle with Seattle Repertory Theatre, Seattle Musical Theatre, Seattle Public Theatre, STAGEright Productions, the 5th Avenue Theatre, and more. Her writing has been recognized by The Adroit Journal, Blank Theatre, the National YoungArts Foundation, and others, and her original plays have been performed in New York and Seattle. She initialized and produced 14/48:HS, a youth-run instant theater festival dedicated to building community through creating meaningful theater. She was named BroadwayWorld Seattle’s 2015 Person To Watch, and currently attends Yale University.

Travis Frank (Music) is so excited to be the recipient of the Pocket Change Grant that made this musical possible. Recent Seattle credits include Bonnie and Clyde (Music Director), Mirror, Mirror (Music and Lyrics), Musical Notes (Music and Lyrics), and the Jason Robert Brown Festival (Director and Producer). Travis’ writing has been performed by the Seattle Symphony, the Pocket Theater, and Black Tie Productions. Travis is also the founder of Black Tie Productions, a youth theater company currently lead by Betty Schwensen, and is the founder of Sub-Zero Productions, a new company producing original theater in Boston. He currently attends Berklee College of Music where he studies Contemporary Writing and Production.
