Papa Bueno Tequila Take The Shot Glass Night says
The distillery was founded by Mr. Indalecio Núñez Muro in 1937. Atotonilco and its surrounding highland plains enjoy excellent
conditions for high quality tequila production, including the best land, climate, water and altitude for growing Agave. The distillery began
exporting tequila in 1964 and in 1986 was rewarded with the “National Quality Award.” Mr. Indalecio and both his sons Jorge and Antonio
served as Presidents of the National Tequila Industry Association and the distillery was one of the founders of the Tequila Regulatory Council in
1994. In the 1990’s the original El Viejito distillery was sold to an international tequila company and the current distillery was developed by
grandson Juan Eduardo Núñez in the highland plains outside the city proper. Papa Bueno Tequilas are exclusively produced in small batch runs
at this new, modern facility that employs old world artisanal techniques.

Our Silver is light and crisp, with citrus hints and an inviting, fragrant agave nose.
Our Reposado is aged over two months in used
Kentucky bourbon oak barrels—softening and warming the agave with caramel hints.
Our Añejo, barreled and aged for more than a year, is
warm and soulful, with smoky oak highlights. All three Tequilas are offered in our handsome 100% recycled glass bottles.
