CreativeLive says
CreativeLive fans, this is your chance to meet and photograph together in Seattle during Photo Week 2015! Meet your favorite instructors, hosts, and your fellow CreativeLive community in person and make new photo friends. Our theme is Portraits of Strangers.

Leave the lighting gear and models for another photo walk, it's time to get real. Do you fear approaching people to take their photo? Fear not! Get more comfortable connecting with people to create portraits resulting in "Look at the emotion in those eyes." Using body language, eye contact, and finding commonalities before you put your camera to your face, you'll learn how to improve your portraits immediately by putting yourself out there, conquering fears, and having fun while doing it!

We’ll start with a brief lesson from host Kenna Klosterman on tips for approaching and photographing strangers and then head out to the streets to see who we encounter.

Starting Location: Gather at CreativeLive at 4:45pm - 228 Dexter Ave, Seattle, WA 98109. We’ll walk as a group to Seattle Center, ending at the Seattle Center Armory where you can mingle with your new friends.

Who is invited? Anyone and everyone - it’s a photography celebration for CL’s Photo Week 2015 and the more the merrier!

Giveaways! Join us in person and you’ll have a chance to win some fantastic prizes, stay tuned for specifics!

Wondering what to bring? Keep it simple - Yourself, a camera, and a smile!

Can I participate from other cities? YES! Invite other photographers in your city to a photo walk on the same day and use #photoweek2015 on Instagram to share what you create! Tune in at 5pm PT for our LIVE Periscope by following @creativelive.
