Resist Trump Coalition Town Hall says
Sisters and Brothers,

The Resist Trump Coalition is joining forces with the immigrant rights organization, El Comité, to help build the biggest, most unified peaceful protests possible against Trump’s racist, bigoted, and anti-worker agenda on Inauguration Day, Friday January 20. Visit my blog for the exciting calendar of Inauguration Week events.

PART 1 | Training: The Basics of Organizing a Protest
PART 2 | Workshops for Current and Future Activists! Workshops may include:

—The National Lawyers Guild on on our legal rights as protesters and peacekeepers
—Seattle Neighborhood Action Coalition about organizing in your community
—Inauguration Day school walkout leaders on student resistance to Trump
—350 Seattle and members of NoDAPL on climate justice efforts in the Northwest
PART 3 | Action Group Meetings:
—Sign-Making
—Postering and Outreach (we need help putting posters up all over town)
—Steward and Peacekeeper Training

Mass protests during Inauguration Week are extremely important to send a clear message to Trump that he has no mandate for his bigoted agenda and billionaire crackpot cabinet. But defeating attacks from the Trump administration will take more than a weekend of mass protest and we will need to stay united in action when Trump goes on the attack.

Please help us spread the word about the Resist Trump Action Meeting!

1) Click that you’re going, invite your Seattle friends, and then share the event with your network.
2) Publicize this event on Twitter and other social media.
3) Email this message, along with event details, to friends who don't use Facebook and/or your organization’s network.
4) Make a list of all the friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors who you think may be interested and invite them personally.

Thank you so much for your commitment to social justice! If we are united in struggle, then we can defeat Trump and his divide-and-conquer politics of hate.

Solidarity,
