Rick Rubin subsequently handpicked Gary for A&R in electronic music at Def American Recordings, launching a noteworthy career with such acts as Lords of Acid, Messiah, David Holmes, Basement Jaxx, Dub Pistols, God Lives Underwater and founding 1500 Records and Nitrus Records. After carrying his success to the metal world with No Name Mgmt, Destructo returned to his roots in 2007 by creating HARD. HARD events such as the HARD Haunted Mansion have become synonymous with cutting edge electronic music and unforgettable experiences, where the talent rosters reflect Destructo's own impeccable DJ sets. About MOTEZ https://www.facebook.com/motez.music Way back before Motez was making bangers and rocking festivals, he was getting some classical piano know how and its these skills that he flexes on Own Up. Clearly influenced by the 90's, Own Up is a fresh and revitalized update rather than pastiche but not only this, in a nice twist, it still manages to sound like it came from the guy that made Roof Ride Back. Motez is many things. He’s #1 ‘next big thing’ (In The Mix), a key 2014 ‘artist to watch’ (MTV), an ‘artist to watch out for’ (vibe magazine), and he’s earned the attention of dudes like Flume, who named Motez as one of his most excited artists alongside Ta-ku and Wave Racer. He’s chalked up two Hype Machine #1s, had main support duties for Disclosure’s most recent Australian tour, was the only Australian to be invited to play the debut Oceanic tour by cult-followed Hard-presents, played to thousands on the main stage of Field Day, and had 3 tracks in Australia’s TOP TEN most played EPs of 2013 by Stoney Roads. About ANNA LUNOE https://www.facebook.com/annalunoe Since 2006, Anna Lunoe has left a trail of exhausted crowds and dance fans. Clubs throughout Australia have become her playground as promoters fly her between cities every weekend to spin. She is a festival favorite including appearances at Big Day Out, Splendour in the Grass, Parklife, Field Day & Falls Festival, inching closer to the top of the bill with each passing year. When international artists like Diplo, Daft Punk, M.I.A, Atrak and Soulwax visit Australia it's highly likely Anna will support, throwing down sets that had everyone's tongues wagging. Kicking off 2011, Anna performed across Australia on the Big Day Out tour, completed a month long USA club tour, wowed Japan for MTV and announced her return to Splendour In The Grass [with her all-girl DJ crew Hoops] while leaping further into the production world. Her first original production, a disco-inspired collaboration with Wax Motif called ‘Love Ting’ reaching #12 on the national independent radio charts & spent a whopping 3 months in the Aria Dance charts. So what gives Anna the knowledge to make the movers and shakers well, move and shake? It could be her vast musical knowledge drawn from a childhood spent listening to records with her musician father.Maybe it’s her refined skill of blending the most compelling underground tunes into seamless hours of musical power. Or perhaps it’s because Anna radiates unparalleled amounts of fun, smiling and singing along to whatever is blasting from the speakers. Whatever it is, its lucky she can be found her at your favorite club, dancing hard, breaking hearts, one spin at a time. About T. WILLIAMS https://www.facebook.com/twilliamsonline There’s something to be said for getting noticed, for standing out from the crowd. Standing out for the right reasons though isn’t always the case. London’s T.Williams is one of those ‘right’ cases, having accomplished a full sweep of merited recognition over the last couple of years. Emerging onto the house scene in 2010 via Tom Lea’s Local Action imprint, T.Williams instantly marked himself as a breakthrough artist with a difference; his unique take on house music turning heads. Whilst he may appear new to the house scene, Tesfa Williams is far from a newcomer to music with a decade of experience behind him in the grime scene as Dread.D. Signed at the tender age of 17 to Jon E Cash’s Black Op’s with ‘Invasion’, Williams went on to have mass success in the grime and bass world selling thousands of singles worldwide. After a five year reign, Williams found himself veering towards the world of house music. With a new found love of house and its sub-genres, T.Williams has since forged a sound signature that blends his grime days, dubstep, bass music and the evolution into house. With a style that undoubtedly impacts, T.Williams’ crossover sound has been the catalyst for his success. Not only rife with groove and feeling but meticulously produced and engineered, deep rumbling bass lines collide with the aggressive bounce of dubstep, house vocals bleed through intricate percussion work and calypso swing and African undertones ricochet off hard edged dub. In 2012 two new relationships then came to the fore that propelled Tesfa to greater heights. Firstly, a weekly show on the legendary (and now fully legal) London FM radio station, Rinse FM, that has featured the likes of Jessie Ware, Soul Clap, Luke Solomon, Dusky and Duke Dumont guest; culminating in T mixing Rinse 21, one of the most vital of the renowned mix series yet. With a follow up EP, debut album and global touring set for 2013, it would seem that the next 12 months will see T.Williams propelled to yet further heights.
