The Office of Arts & Culture Seattle in partnership with Town Hall Seattle presents a free interactive workshop for arts and cultural organizations to create their own Emergency Action Plan. Presented by Miranda LeonJones, formerly Town Hall Seattleā€™s Production Services Manager, the workshop will feature key elements of an effective plan, covering actions and steps to take in fire, earthquake, active shooter situations and more. Participants will have the opportunity to work through different scenarios in small work groups and leave the event with a template and concrete strategies for developing their own Emergency Action Plans.

About Miranda LeonJones:

Miranda LeonJones worked at Town Hall Seattle for the past five years in several roles and crafted an Emergency Action Plan for the building and its occupants. LeonJones hails from San Francisco, CA and has an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School.
