All musicians working in the greater Seattle area are invited to the 2015 Seattle-Area Working Musicians Holiday ‘Office’ Party, a fourth-annual gathering presented by Puget’s Sound Productions and Fremont Abbey Arts Center. THIS IS A PRIVATE EVENT—RSVP required (here or

We may not have a standard office or see our co-workers around the water cooler every day, but musicians are real, working people who enjoy the company of peers too! So let’s act like the normal folk we are and spend a winter’s evening with our ‘office’-mates talking shop, tossing one back, and celebrating our collective workplace—just as other, normal companies are doing this time of year.

On Tuesday, December 8, local working musicians* will gather downstairs at Fremont Abbey Arts Center Center in Seattle beginning at 5:00pm and going until 9:00. The event is private and invitation-only, as per Washington State Liquor Control Board requirements, but ALL AREA WORKING MUSICIANS ARE INVITED—RSVP required! Beverages and light snacks will be provided by Puget’s Sound; feel free to bring a goody to contribute! There are several restaurants nearby with easy carry-out options as well.

Again, if you identify as a working musician, then you (and your significant) are invited: this is your invitation, complete with bad, office-memo clip-art. Drop in when you can make it throughout the evening, and do help spread the word by passing along this notice to other working musicians. Thanks for all you do in the local music community!

Special thanks to Fremont Abbey Arts Center for generous sponsorship. Volunteers welcome to linger after and help clean up this wonderful arts space!
