Seattle Karaoke League "Spring Training" Launch! says
There's been a huge buzz about the SEATTLE KARAOKE LEAGUE...well - IT'S HERE and you are invited to the official kick off "Meet & Greet" event!

PLEASE feel free to share this event with whomever you think might be interested.

People have been chomping at the bit for this info, so now that's it's public, here are some details! ;)

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER is that the point behind the Seattle Karaoke League is to have FUN with your old friends and make plenty of new ones!

The SKL is based on a simple philosophy; play for the post season. During the course of a ten week season, you and your friends will compete each week against a different team in three different song categories: weekly theme, mystery round and group sing. In between rounds, there are chances for you to earn bonus points to further help your cause.

The SKL currently consists of a maximum of 12 teams battling it out over ten weeks in regular Round Robin style, and then two post season weeks, starting with THIS "spring training" event; regular competitions will begin on Monday, April 27th. (At this time, all league play will be taking place at Dante's in the U-District.)

Competitive play will begin each week at 7:30PM and we expect to be completed each night sometime between 10:00 and you have no excuses about it being a "school night"! :)

Each team will need to pay a $30 entry fee for each member of their team for their involvement in the SKL season. You will be given an official logo League shirt [in your size, of course] which you must wear every week.

Membership will also afford you:
- exclusive food & beverage discounts for SKL members only,
- a certificate of completion for your involvement in the SKL season,
- an invitation to the catered 'wrap party' for team members only,
- [don't forget] that cool-ass trophy for the big winners, yo!

(Teams may also substitute outside members onto their teams for a weekly fee of $5.00 per substitute per week.)

OK...that's the "BIG" overview. All of this information is now LIVE on the website where you can JOIN right away, even if you can't make it to this event. But HURRY! Space is limited and filling up fast!

In the meantime, go join the Facebook group to keep informed about the kick off!
