Seattle Mini Maker Faire Sunday says
Join EMP for the Seattle Mini Maker Faire on September 19-20, 2015, to be held at EMP Museum and the Next 50 Plaza of Seattle Center.

Try out the latest, greatest inventions by over 80 makers from across the region at a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness—and a celebration of the maker movement: people not just hungry to talk about the next big thing, but to make it!

Over the course of the weekend, guests are invited to get their hands dirty and try out amazing projects through exhibits, hands-on activities, demonstrations, and talks that blend art, engineering, science, and technology. It’s a vibrant gathering of innovative minds, and the perfect opportunity to learn as well as share.

Prepare to geek out and be amazed by the latest in tools, kits, and DIY resources!

• Mind-blowing robotics, crafts, wearable art, LEGO® builds, and more
• Hands-on tinkering in workshops and demos including soldering, coding, musical electronics, stomp rockets, recycled arts, and LED light jewelry making
• Check out a range of energy efficient vehicles
• The latest in 3D printing technology, CNC mills, and Arduino galore
• Student and youth maker demonstrations
• Hear from the innovators themselves through presentations including a special CreativeMornings event featuring maker and founder of Glowforge Dan Shapiro, who ran the most successful Kickstarter campaign for a board game ever
