September Guest Fest is Jet City Improv's month-long mini improv festival featuring a mix of up-and-coming ensembles, independent powerhouses, and fan favorites from across the Seattle improv landscape to perform festival-length sets every Thursday and Friday night at 8:00, September 1st through the 23rd.

Now it’s possible – nay, probable – that you’ve seen seen many of Guest Fest’s performers in other shows around town. But make no mistake, this is truly a celebration of the independents: aside from a few exceptions, these groups all operate independently of Seattle’s big improv theaters and book their own shows at venues like the The Pocket Theater and the Slate Theater. Now they’re all together under one roof and it’s never been easier to see all that Seattle has to offer.

Worried that your eyes are little bigger than your wallet? Don’t worry: you’ll get a Madness Pass with the purchase of your first ticket that will get you back as often as you like to other Septmeber Guest Fest shows - and every show at Jet City Improv - for only $5 per ticket through September 24.

You can find out more about the performers and get your tickets here:

Four seasoned improvisors striving for honesty… emotionally, intellectually, and ecumenically. There are no edits or tag-outs, just a continuous scene and what we discover along the way.

[Secret Bagel]
The three-person team of Steve Henry, Brandon Jepson and Lindsey Peterson will entertain you with an energetic long-form story told with whimsy and zeal. This mini-epic will feature as many characters as the three of them can cram into 20 minutes, characters great and small, in a story spanning years but told swiftly.

Stain is Ethan Smith and Stephen Carter. They’re loud! They’re messy! They want to be your new best friends!

[The Improvinati]
The Improvinati aims to bring laughter and light into the dark places of the collective human soul.

[Zine Scene]
Ian and Katy create scenes based on sheets of paper created by audience members which are all based on a common theme. After the show is over, the papers are collected and made into a zine which will be available for pickup at the theater.
