Are you ready to experience the pure bliss of an open and loving Heart? Join me for an intro to the heart-opening, happy-making system of qigong known as Sheng Zhen.

Sheng Zhen (pronounced "shung jen") literally means "Sacred Truth" which is further defined as Unconditional Love. In Sheng Zhen philosophy we view Love, not just Qi (vital life force energy), as a basic and original energy of the Universe. Where there is Love, there is Qi. Where there is Qi, there is Life!

Not only is this system of qigong what I refer to as "happy-making," but when we learn to relax the body, the Heart can relax. When the Heart is relaxed, the mind can relax. And when the mind is relaxed, we're better able to be truly present, handle all that comes our way with greater clarity and ease, and to enjoy life more!

So come experience the power of Qi and the power of Love. :)

Here's a video about Sheng Zhen, and see below for more details from the description from my Sheng Zhen Meetup Group:

We’ll start with brief introductions and a little discussion about qigong in general and Sheng Zhen in particular. And then we'll explore some of the heart-opening movements and poetic contemplations. Although we'll mostly be standing, feel free to bring something to sit on; if you need to sit the whole time, that's fine too-- everything can be modified for sitting or standing.

Where: Volunteer Park We'll meet to the right of the Seattle Asian Art Museum. Follow the path down just a little ways. If you end up behind the building, you've gone too far. If grassy area to the right is occupied, look nearby or in front of the museum.

PLEASE BRING: a chair, stool, back-jack and/or cushion and/or blanket if you want something to sit on. I also suggest you dress in layers and bring some water for yourself to drink.

Cost: By donation; suggested is $5-$10; nobody turned away for lack of funds.

All levels are welcome, so whether you're totally new to qigong or just new to Sheng Zhen, or have attended classes and workshops, I look forward to seeing you soon!
