Q Nightclub presents Studio 4/4 featuring

Gesaffelstein aka Mike Levy stands apart from the current techno scene in Paris. At the moment when techno and dubstep are producing new heroes amongst a handful of French DJs, Levy has chosen a different route for his musical expression. His energizing techno, dark and obsessional, works the dance-floor yet at the same time continues to mine emotional landscapes and powerful atmospheres.

Inspired by Kraftwerk but also electronic music born from Punk and New Wave, Gesaffelstein mixes current techno with cutting rhythms and dissonant tones from pioneers like DAF, Front 242 or Nitzer Ebb; a kind of 'dance metal.'

Gener8ion is a new pluridisciplinary entity, at the crossing of music, art and fashion. Bromance’s new project, featuring France's house DJ and producer Surkin, has been somewhat under lock & key — only teasing us with artwork, billboards, a dedicated website, and a cryptic audio prelude.

From Nu Disco to House to Progressive to Tech to Deep to Disco, this night is all about 4/4 dance music as interpreted and presented by members of Decibel, Flammable, Inner Flight and Trashed. Every Thursday at Q.
