Join us for this specialized and experiential training on Saturday, November 19th, 2016 in Seattle, WA at Seattle Yoga Arts. This 6 hour training is designed for healing arts and health + wellness practitioners seeking to enhance their work with survivors of sexual violence.

Drawing from personal testimony, cutting-edge research and professional insights, our team will facilitate an in-depth conversation about the impacts of sexual trauma, along with the tools and resources to assist participants in fostering a trauma-informed environment for the people they serve in a variety of healing arts settings.

The training will include interactive and experiential presentations from practitioners of a variety of healing arts practices including acupuncture, yoga, somatic psychotherapy and Bodytalk. Each presenter will share how these practices can meet the unique mind-body-soul needs of survivors, and how the practice can be modified and delivered most effectively to promote trauma-informed, survivor-centered recovery.

Our presenters include-

Molly Boeder Harris (yoga)

Kate Busby (acupuncture)

Jennifer Slater (somatic psychotherapy)

Greg Wieting (Bodytalk)
