“Suspended Eddies” , ia a large scale airborne sculpture created by Seattle-based artist, Sophia Wheelwright.

In Wheelwright’s words:
“I believe what slows us down, even for a few moments, can remind us how extraordinary everyday objects are and shift our experience of place as we notice texture, patterns, light, movement and sound in a more focused way."

This pairs well with Michaud Savage:

Michaud is a working musician in the Seattle area and this concert is a collection of compositions for solo guitar, followed by compositions for small chamber ensemble. These pieces are vignettes, windows. They are glances into rooms, memories as they formed, they are nowhere to go. This collection is a curated series of departures.
Ensemble features:
Andrew Joslyn, 1st violin.
Janet Utterback, 2nd violin.
Michael Watson, viola.
Nicholas Pozoulakis, cello.
Rose Gear, contrabass.
Michaud Savage, classical guitar.

If you bring a picnic or go nearby for the day shifts into dusk, you will be able to see the installation lit by David Verkade, a Seattle based lighting designer.

This is a chance to see the installation before it comes down Oct 4th!
