We will be featuring a selection of used & vintage fashions from Z Freak Boutique, rocks and gems from Matt Fimiano and showcasing the wearable works of local artists including Melissa Jane, GetJuliet by Juliet Kittleson, jewelry by Maria LaFrance, and Habihats by TechnoPrincess. Skip all the commercial Valentine's B.S. and buy into the local art scene instead - and leave lookin' fresh in some fabulous new custom gear! This month at Equinox, you can also see Iron Monkey Arts hard at work in The Blacksmith Shop, Syd Shera will be hosting a live raku firing out front ($20 to glaze and fire the piece of your choosing and witness it transform before your eyes!), the bonfires will be burning and you'll have the opportunity to meet and greet many of Equinox's over 50 artist and artisans and see their spectacular and diverse works and workspaces up-close and in person! You can also hop the (FREE) Art Ride to downtown Georgetown and find Equinox's Valentine Vixens across from the Art Ride stop at Airport Way & Vale (outside Georgetown Records / Fantagraphics) where you can enjoy live music brought to you by our own beloved TJ Grant, strut your stuff on Edward Fluffington's Kitty Catwalk, get fancy in z Freak Boutique's Transformation Station, *and* we even have our very own sweetheArt photo booth to immortalize your newfound fabulosity in photo form!
