Dancification Lodge - Spring Equinox w/ Chatara
The season entices us to rouse from the realms of slumber,
To embrace the bursts of new life within the soil of our souls.
In this field of luminous possibilities, what is being awakened?
In this dance of divine balance between light and dark, what's realigning?
'Tis a sacred Spring cleaning! Come clear away the old, to make room for the new.
The Dancification Lodge is a ceremony of purification to dance our prayers in four rounds.
Each to honor the sacred directions and the four elements within us - earth/body, air/mind, water/emotions, and fire/spirit. Together we create the space to express our untamed emotions, explore the power of our thoughts, delve into the sensations of our bodies, and succumb to the inspiration of our souls.
You are invited to bring into the dance lodge drums, rattles, stones, altar items, *dried herbs or flowers for prayer bundles, and other objects you wish to pray/sacredly play with. Songs and wisdom stories may be brought to the closing share circle.
*If you'd like to contribute herbs for the prayer bundles we'd love to have: sage, sweetgrass, tobacco, cedar, cornmeal, lavender, roses, and salt.

7:45 - Doors open for warm-up
8:00 - Opening circle (please be present for the circle)
10:00 - Closing circle
10:00 - 11:00 Snacks and socializing
$10 drop-in, $9 on 5 or 10 class pass
