During this years block party weekend on Capitol Hill, Capitol Cider has been gracious enough to allow us to put on 2 nights of live music! So we invited some of our favorite Seattle based artist who just happen to be some of the finest bands in town serving up every thing from Electronica to Jazz along with Soul, Hip Hop & Funk! The best part... IT"S FREE!!! Below is the line up so far (WITH MORE BANDS TO BE ANNOUNCED IN THE COMING DAYS...)

AFROCOP 9pm - 10:30pm
Seattle trio Afrocop performs improvised soundscapes of soul, afrobeat, breakbeat, sci-fi and jazz. Chicago native Noel Brass Jr. (keys) formed the band as a means to express his psychedelic gospel leanings. Veteran Seattle players Andy Sells (FCS North, Cascadia ’10, Fascination Nation) & Carlos Tulloss (Screens, Stereo Sons, Undersea Passage) bring the beats and low end to the mix.

Theoretics is a five piece livetronica band from Seattle, WA known for their well crafted instrumentals and collaborations with soulful vocalists. They continue to be known for their energetic live shows and ability to blend programmed and live elements seamlessly during their performances.

Featuring some of the best players in Seattle’s vibrant music scene, The New Triumph plays an energetic and original mix of Funk, Jazz and Afro-Latin music. The New Triumph is enjoying a growing reputation for putting on dance-able yet musically intriguing shows with razor sharp arrangements.

We are an 11 piece band that plays a blend of Funky Soul infused with hip hop and electronic elements. We've built up a solid and dedicated following over the last 2 years thanks to our high energy live show and dance freindly original tunes!
