Hold on to your tea-sandwiches, Nordo's Culinarium is about to explode with this collaboration - The Williams Project and Cafe Nordo re-imagine "The Glass Menagerie" in an immersive production, where your ticket includes a 3-course Southern meal and cocktail inspired by the great writer himself.

The Williams Project follows last year’s critical and audience hit "Orpheus Descending" by reexamining another Williams classic.

"The Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams is one of the most beloved plays in the American canon. As with "Orpheus Descending", the Williams Project honors the emotional core of Williams’ work through a fresh, contemporary and irreverent lens. Presented in partnership with Café Nordo, this production will create a deep intimacy and connection to the Wingfield family by putting you inside the cramped St. Louis apartment where matriarch Amanda and her kids Tom and Laura attempt to survive the depression and each other after their father abandons them. As the Wingfields struggle to reconcile their cravings for freedom with the obligations of family, the play builds to an important dinner party for a gentleman caller they all hope can change their future. And as the dinner party unfolds, our whole audience will be guests for a home-cooked, three-course meal featuring Mississippi pot roast, Black Eyed Peas, Buttermilk Cornbread and other southern favorites.

"The Glass Menagerie" features Grant Chapman (Tom Wingfield) and Elise LeBreton (Laura Wingfield), who were seen in "Orpheus Descending" last year. It also features Nancy Moricette (Amanda Wingfield) and Leicester Landon (The Gentlemen Caller). Menu by Café Nordo Artistic Director Erin Brindley. Design by Ryan Dunn.
