The Great Work Begins says
On Monday, January 30, KUOW, in partnership with the Office of Arts & Culture, will bring together artists from all disciplines to consider one big question:

“What is the artist’s role in the new political landscape?”

This event will be a chance for artists to share hopes and fears for the next four years through group discussion and collective art-making. This event will be committed to racial and social equity with a focus on diversity, inclusivity, and acceptance for people of all orientations and identities. It’s not a panel or a lecture. It’s an opportunity for the Seattle arts community to come together and think creatively about the way forward.
If you plan to attend, please come prepared with your answers to these questions:
1. What is your biggest fear?
2. What is your greatest hope?
3. Where do we go from here?
4. How might your work reflect these questions?
Arrive at 6 pm to mingle with fellow artists and participate in our Audio Confessional Booth.
Conversation circle convenes at 7 pm.

Please RSVP at the link below so we can get a proper headcount for the event.
