The Memorial Concert For Anton

Dear friends, We will forever remember our friend and brother Anton. While our grief and loss is profound, we know we want to say farewell and have the chance to say "we love you" just one more time. Therefore, on Saturday, March 14, 2015 all who are able will gather at Seattle Club Sur from 12 noon to 5PM. We will share Anton's favorite dishes (served at noon) with tributes and stories of Anton Zafereo, followed by a celebration of life concert featuring Anton's beloved musical family incluiding The Overton Berry Trio, renouned jazz vocalist Grace Holden, the unforgettable and timeless voice of Makini, bassist and guitarist Sean Davin and violist Dorothy Shapiro, along with Anton's friend, housemate and pianist Keith Terhune. We will faithfully honor Anton's request for a Dixieland Band (a loud one) to see him off. Any and all of Anton's friends, family and co-workers are invited to write a memory or short story for a compilation of memories of Anton which will be made available as soon as possible. If you wish, please send your wriiten stories to Megan Person. Lastly, we ask if you will please RSVP if possible so we can make general arrangements for food and drinks.
