"I've been drawing since I could hold a pen, painting since I did a portrait of a hula girl in the basement of the Eldridge Hotel (Lawrence, KS) in 1988 and exhibiting work since the early 90's. Thanks to modest pricing and dimly lit venues where alcohol is served, you can find my work in collectors' homes here and there all over America. Also: people are crazy.
Notable work I've done includes a custom-painted drum set for Kliph Scurlock of The Flaming Lips that's been played in front of crowds numbering in the thousands, a painting I was commissioned to do as a back drop for a prominent scene in the indie film, "Fat Kid Rules the World" and drawings in the landmark indie art show, "Comic Art '95" which also included popular artists such as Peter Bagge, Jim Woodring, Scott Musgrove and Ellen Forney."
