Please join State Rep. June Robinson, Donna Moodie, Vanessa Kritzer and Savitha Reddy Pathi for a Special Event in support of Rep. Brady Piñero Walkinshaw, Candidate for Washington State’s 7th Congressional District.

Rep. Brady Piñero Walkinshaw serves Washington’s 43rd Legislative District in the State’s House of Representatives. A native of the northwest, Brady grew up in rural Washington, where his dad farmed organic vegetables and is an agricultural educator. Brady’s mom immigrated to this country from Cuba, and teaches English Language Learners in the same public schools where Brady graduated. In Olympia, Brady championed and passed major legislation in areas from mental health to criminal justice reform. Now a candidate for U.S. Congress, Brady’s campaign is endorsed by over 35 colleagues in the State Senate and State House, and organizations from the State’s Machinist’s Council to Young Democrats of Washington. A graduate of Princeton, Brady went on to study education in urban slums in Honduras on a Fulbright before returning home to the Northwest for several years at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Brady was appointed to the State House in 2013 to serve the 43rd Legislative District, when Mayor Ed Murray was elected. Brady would be the first openly LGBT and Latino member of the U.S. Congress. Brady lives in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood with his husband, Micah Horwith, a marine biologist.
