The last general meeting of the year!

Come kick it, learn how to scratch with Andrés "Dig1" Coca, meet the new 2015-2016 Officer Team, and see how to get involved for the next year!

Hailing from Tacoma, Washington, Dig1 began his pursuit in his long standing interest in the art at the age of 13 with low quality equipment and a random assortment of vinyl records. Soon he was taken under the mentorship of DJ Save1, founding member of Tacoma’s Fab5 collective, where he learned many fundamentals of deejaying. Following these lessons, he took it upon himself to create his own style and advance his techniques using both vinyl and analog deejaying. After roughly four years, he was given the name 'Dig1' for his hobby of digging for records at least an hour a day and his experimentation with multiple genres. Entering his 3rd year of deejaying, began to teach classes at the Fabitat studio in Tacoma, and lead the DJ program until he relocated to Seattle to attend the UW.
