Vaddey Ratner discusses her novel, "Music of the Ghosts," the story of one woman’s return to Cambodia as she confronts her past.

Pulitzer-Prize winner Viet Thanh Nguyen says, "Music of the Ghosts is a moving and often gripping exploration of Cambodia’s Khmer Rouge regime and its aftermath. Vaddey Ratner is a survivor of the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia. Her critically acclaimed bestselling debut novel, "In the Shadow of the Banyan," has been translated into seventeen languages. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Cornell University, where she specialized in Southeast Asian history and literature.

Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. This event will be recorded for future podcast.
