We’re inviting all UW faculty, staff, students, community members and friends to come together for a full-filled day of purple pride, culminating in a one-of-a-kind event that kicks off the most ambitious campaign in University history. Through an immersive multimedia show, we'll explore how the UW is transforming Washington and the world — and how we can make a difference. Together.

W Day Sneak Peek | 10 a.m. – Noon on Red Square
Celebrate the UW and keep the purple and gold tradition alive! Join your fellow Huskies on campus, online and in the community!

W Day | 5-6:30 p.m. on Crockett Plaza at Alaska Airlines Arena
Wear your purple and gold with pride as we wish the UW a happy 155th birthday with hotdogs and cupcakes giveaways, the Husky Alumni band and more!

Pre-show | 6:30 p.m. at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion
Get on your feet with a high-energy welcome by the Husky Marching Band, UW Cheer and Dance – and Robb Weller, ’72, to lead The Wave.

Together | 7 p.m. at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion
Settle into your seat for the main event, a spirited look at the UW’s past, present and future with an evening of music, movement and live performances. You will also hear from special guests including UW President Ana Mari Cauce, Gov. Jay Inslee, Microsoft President Brad Smith and Bill Gates Sr.
