Time Out says

THIS will be an incredibly fun and killer show... Enjoy some good ol' music from CCR from our friends in the Chooglin' Cedar River Band, covering all your Creedence favorites. Stoned Evergreen Travelers bring on their brand of slammin', jammin' outlaw country rebel, hellbilly rock. Machine (Portland) will take you beyond any expectation you may have had when this industrial soul punk duo takes the stage, with a fierce intensity and heart in their music that can be matched by a mother tigress defending her young cubs. Fronted by lead vocalist / pianist Madeline Mahrie and percussionist / vocalist Peter Thomas combining the minimalist instrumentation of 80s new wave with a soulful vocal approach reminiscent of Billie Holiday, Janis Joplin, PJ Harvey. The percussive pairing of Mahrie and Thomas creates a sophisticated aesthetic appeal while maintaining an organic danceable groove. WITCHBURN lays down their sultry, sludgey, bluesy brand of whiskey soaked sabbra cadabra. The sound of rebellion in the voice of a hate-child, conceived during a mythical orgy between Black Sabbath, Janis Joplin, Ronnie James Dio and Heart. Heavy, downtuned, and a little southern fried, the songs manifest strength to be gained through adversity, as inspired by red meat, red wine and Black Sabbath. 21+ / $8 / 9 PM
