Woody's Northwest Songs Celebratory Concert! says
"Pastures of Plenty" & "Roll On, Columbia" are just two of the famous folk songs composed by Woody Guthrie during the most creative month of his life. Living in Portland, OR and working for the Bonneville Power Administration, Guthrie churned out a batch of songs that have helped define the Pacific Northwest in the modern day.
Musician Caitlin Belem Romtvedt & author Greg Vandy will join Ben Hunter & Joe Seamons for a concert that explores the legacy of Woody Guthrie's Columbia River Songs! Learn about Guthrie's trips through the Pacific Northwest, and hear new arrangements of many of the classic songs he wrote along the Columbia River!
