Healing Arts Festival

Seoul’s first pro bono arts fair will be opening for 4 days at the end of this month. Healing Arts Festival, aka HAF, introduces itself as an arts fair dedicated to sharing the welfare with society by communicating social issues, with art as a medium. 53 galleries will be participating in the event with artworks portraying and discussing a number of socio-political topics including communication within social hierarchy, the Korean reunification and youth employment, among others. The festival is also composed of 7 special programs that attempt to educate the public about art and its contribution to the world we live in. Lectures/seminars, multicultural art, healing through sculptures and celebrity artists are some of the special programs taking place during the event.
