In 1990, Nam June Paik put on A Pas de Loup, which was a traditional Korean mourning performance that he held in Gallery Hyundai’s backyard to honor his friend Joseph Beuys’ death. Twenty-six years later, this exhibit honors the performance by displaying the objects and records from the performance and other pieces of video art. If you’ve frequented other Nam June Paik exhibitions in Seoul, his work at this one will not be unfamiliar.
