Renoir : Images of Women

Thanks to the Korea-France Year, we’ve been fortunate to get more French culture right here in Seoul! Following the Musée d’Orsay exhibition at the Seoul Art’s Center, December 16^th saw the opening of Renoir special exhibition at Seoul Museum of Art. Around 30 paintings have been brought over from 30 different museums and private collections, exposing some extremely rare selection of Renoir's. The collection will be categorized in 4 sections: paintings of children, women in families, Renoir’s partners and lastly, nude paintings.
