Remember when Honey Butter chips were all the rage? Or soonhari (the latest soju)? Yes, yes you do because actually it wasn't that long ago. In Seoul, foods like clothes are passing trends and you don't want to be lost in the craze of putting it up on your SNS.

Following the cronuts craze that happened sometime last year, the Millenium Seoul Hilton's Cilantro Deli is celebrating the hotel's new director of culinary (Mr. Bernhard Butz) with a new signature pastry item: namssants! Dissect the word and try to guess what it means. It's a hybrid French croissant and soft roll that's being served on Namsan, of course.

Hoping to be loved by foodies all over Seoul, the namssant boasts a taste that's crunchy on the outside by buttery and flaky on the inside. In fact, while most average croissants have 32 layers, this namssant has nine times as much at 288! Each namssant is available at 3,000 won.

Along with the introduction of the menu, there's also an outdoor terrace that's now open at the Cafe 395. Here at the cafe, there are also new menu items to welcome Mr. Butz - smoothies, ice creams, a variety of shaved ices and cakes). Particularly intriguing on the menu? Spaghetti ice cream which is creatively made with strawberry sauce, whipped cream and coconut flakes in the shape of spaghetti.

Prices at the cafe range from 15,000 won to 35,000 won. For more information please call 02-317-2014.
