Comments from our coffee experts
SJ They have everything from skills, size and popularity. Owner Lee Yoon-sun and their cuppers are all quite skilled and the quality of their beans and brewing are excellent. They have a big influence on both specialty coffee and commercial coffee industries in Korea.
David G. We First opened in Gangneung in 2002, Terarosa Coffee is the largest specialty coffee brand in Korea with about ten branches. Being one of the best coffee shops in Korea, this place is a haven for coffee lovers.

Terarosa Coffee originally started as a coffee factory in the east coast seaside town of Gangneung. When their factory first opened in 2002, their initial focus was B2B operations. But as stories of their great tasting coffee spread by word of mouth, they grew to meet the demand and now have shops nationwide from Seoul all the way down to Jeju Island.Their specialty coffees are brewed using light and medium-light roasted beans which bring out delicate flavors. The Terarosa Coffee Gwanghwamun Branch opened in November 2013 at the Gate Win Tower in Junghak-dong. The shop is spacious enough to accommodate a large number of customers at once. Their menu consists of drip coffee, espresso drinks, fresh fruit juice and more. They also bake their own bread starting from 7:30 in the morning and offer brunch a menu from 11:00 am.
