As you might have suspected, Yankees Burger and Yankees Pizza have the same owner, and they both retain a hipster-esque undertone. At Yankees Pizza, this is highlighted by a rough mural of an intense-looking woman on the side wall, giving you a stare demanding that you buy a slice of their creative pizzas as soon as you enter the venue.
The menu includes Ninja Turtle, your usual ‘slice,’ or cheese pizza, Popeye which has got a mountain of spinach on top, and lusciously golden slices of Hello! Trump. Mind you, though: if you’re (very rightfully) expecting New York-style pizzas here, you might be disappointed quickly, with the tomato sauce that is given separately with your order, along with the soft dough and bready crust. If you ask us if they ‘taste good,’ though, our answer would be ‘yes.’
