Five Nobleman’s Seollal Feast of Namsangol Hanok Village

Five traditional homes of noblemen at the Namsangol Hanok Village invite you to 2 days of Seollal festivities. From 11am to 5pm, you will be able to learn the proper way of charye (an ancestral memorial service) while taking part in the service, try some tteokguk (rice cake soup eaten on New Year’s), and even make your own wooden masks, kites, traditional tops, bow/arrows and some paper charm to ward off negative spirits for 2017. Another fun part? It's free! Food trucks will be nearby throughout the event.
