Time Out says

Korea, for a while now, has been on the list of countries with the highest highest life expectancy. Sure, there are many factors behind this phenomenon, but one of them may be related to the country’s cultural craze around the practice of Oriental Medicine, a mixture of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and other modalities. After all, the medicinal practice focuses on the concept of yin and yang, observing the human body as a small universe of its own. To celebrate this cultural treasure, the Seoul Yangyeongshi Herb Medicine Culture Festival will open from October 7th to 8th. The 22nd annual event will run under the theme of food infused with traditional medicine. The festival will include a commencing parade, herb medicine food competitions, free herb medicine Bibimbap taste, quality herb medicine food trucks, a marathon, ssireum (Korean wrestling) competition among other events. If you're interested in incorporating herbs in your daily life, take this opportunity to find some that you normally can't find outside of Korea.
