The Clown of God says
Auditions for The Clown of God will be held in the Church Hall (basement of the church) of St Margaret of Scotland Church, 3854 Flad Avenue, St. Louis, MO, 63110, on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 9:00 to 11:30 AM.

The Clown of God is a mime play performed in conjunction with a musical cantata. This audition is for the troupe of players who will perform through stage movement, mime and dance. As the troupe performs, a choir and orchestra sing and play the music; the story is told by the Narrator. The production will be mounted within the beautiful sanctuary of St. Margaret of Scotland Church, on December 29 and 30; a perfect Christmastime setting for this old French legend. Rehearsals will take place on Saturday afternoons in October and November, additional rehearsals may be required on weekday nights, particularly in December. No rehearsals planned for Thanksgiving weekend and during the period December 18 through 25.

You may request an audition slot by emailing, giving a range of time for your appointment on the morning of Sept 17 between 9:00 and 11:30AM. We’ll confirm a specific time back to you. Attach a picture and resume if you have one but don't let the fact that you don't have one keep you from submitting! Actors and dancers will be given time to demonstrate improv skills and stage movement.
