Capturing Truths: A Youth Storytelling Workshop says
At this 90-minute workshop, youth ages 13-15 will explore the basics of conversational interview and smartphone photography. Participants will produce a digital portrait with accompanying quotes.

These stories, presented in the style of Humans of St. Louis and Forward Through Ferguson storytelling, will be posted to a shareable Facebook page.

Free and open to the public. Space is limited; please RSVP at www.mohumanities.org/calendar.

Parents/Guardians: Registration is only open to teen participants ages 13-15 (Parents/guardians should RSVP for their children only, not for themselves).

PLEASE NOTE - As your minor will be producing or be featured in work that will be shared publicly, parents/guardians will be required to sign a media release consent form. You will receive an email containing that form for review prior to the event. Teens participating in the workshop will need a parent/guardian to sign them in and fill out the media release consent form, onsite, on June 11 (workshop is for youth, but parents may remain on University City Public Library premises).
