A writer, vocalist and sound artist, LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs is the author of TwERK (Belladonna, 2013). Her interdisciplinary work has been featured at the The Kitchen, Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Walker Art Center, REVERSE in Denmark and the Poesiefestival in Berlin. As a curator and director, she has staged events at BAM Café, Lincoln Center Out of Doors and El Museo del Barrio and is the co-founder and co-editor of Coon Bidness/ SO4magazine. A native of Harlem, LaTasha is the recipient of numerous awards; of them include New York Foundation for the Arts, The Jerome Foundation, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, The Laundromat Project and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Justin Phillip Reed is the author of the forthcoming chapbook, A History of Flamboyance (YesYes Books). His poems appear—or soon will—in Kenyon Review, Obsidian, Vinyl, joINT., The Offing,Boston Review, and elsewhere. He lives in St. Louis, where he is a Junior Writer-in-Residence at Washington University. He was born and raised in South Carolina.

The gondo poetry series is free and open to the public. The series is funded in part by the Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Art and the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis. Readings sponsored by Schlafly Beer.
