On September 25, 2015, enjoy a date night under the stars of the James S. McDonnell Planetarium and learn about the upcoming the Total Lunar Eclipse. Your evening will include a live star show, a classic sci-fi film and a cash bar.

Over the last year, Saint Louis has be fortunate to experience a tetrad (four) Lunar Eclipses. Come learn how you can see this eclipse, stay to enjoy the 1958 classic Sci-Fi/Horror film: "Horror of Dracula" starring the late Christopher Lee, and help us celebrate the last Total Lunar Eclipse (also sometimes known as a Blood Moon) of the 2014-2015 Lunar Eclipse Tetrad!

Your admission to Nova Nights includes:
A special presentation of the Live Sky Tonight exploring the Total Lunar Eclipse
A classic science fiction movie: "Horror of Dracula"
Cash bar

Tickets: $10 in advance, $15 at the door
Location: James S. McDonnell Planetarium
Date and Time: Friday, September 25. Doors open at 6:30pm. Event begins at 7pm.

This is a 21 and older event. Seating is limited. Reservations are encouraged.

To make your evening as comfy as possible, feel free to bring pillows and blankets. A limited number of floor mats will also be available.

This is a dark night sky presentation, so it is important to arrive prior to the 7pm event start time.
