On December 11, 2015, enjoy a date night under the stars of the James S. McDonnell Planetarium and learn about the wonders of the red planet: Mars. Your evening will include a live star show, a sci-fi film, time to explore the brand new exhibit, Mission Mars: Base and a cash bar.

Saint Louis is home to many of the studies being conducted on Mars currently. Come learn about what we’ve discovered of the red planet so far, explore our new exhibit, Mission Mars: Base and stay to enjoy the 1996 cult classic, Mars Attacks!

Your admission to Nova Nights includes:
• A special presentation of the Live Sky Tonight exploring Mars and the Mars Rovers
• A look at the brand new NASA funded exhibit, Mission Mars: Base
• A science fiction movie: "Mars Attacks"
• Snacks and a cash bar

Tickets: $10 in advance, $15 at the door
Location: James S. McDonnell Planetarium
Date and Time: Friday, December 11, Doors open at 6:00pm. Event begins at 7pm.

This is a 21 and older event. Seating is limited. Reservations are encouraged.

To make your evening as comfy as possible, feel free to bring pillows and blankets. A limited number of floor mats will also be available.

This is a dark night sky presentation, so it is important to arrive prior to the 7pm event start time.
