Research Without Walls: A Student Research Symposium says
Join us as we showcase research conducted by our social work and public health students. Learn about the impact they are making in our community and around the world.

3:30 pm: Poster presentations and reception
5:00 p.m: Remarks by Tishaura O. Jones, Treasurer, City of St. Louis
5:15 p.m: Awards for outstanding student research posters

Tishaura Jones, City of St. Louis Treasurer, recently served for two terms in the Missouri House of Representatives. When selected by her colleagues as the Assistant Minority Floor Leader, she became the first African-American and the first woman in Missouri history to hold this position. Jones earned a master’s degree in Health Administration from the Saint Louis University School of Public Health.
