Join The Improv Shop for a Night of Storyteller and Support a Family Devastated By the Flood

Friday, January 29th, at the Improv Shop. Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm. Just $5 admission. A portion of the bar proceeds will also go directly to the Lang-Barnes family to help them recover from their losses from the most recent flooding.

Hey Everyone, this is Bill and Julie Brown. We would like to help this very deserving family get back on its feet. They have been the best tenants we have ever had and it devastates us that this tragedy has happened to them. For the past year we have had the pleasure of renting our home out to Matt, Samantha, and their disabled twin boys, Nick and Dakota. On December 27, 2015 the family was forced to leave their home in Pacific because of record-breaking flooding from the Meramec River. They were devastated to find that nearly everything in the home was ruined from the waters and the house that they had been renting for the past year was left uninhabitable. They have been staying with relatives as they search for a new place to call home.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time Matt and Samantha have had to pull through dire circumstances. Their identical twin sons, Nick and Dakota were born premature at just 25 weeks and had many medical complications, their chances of surviving were very poor. Luckily both boys made it through their most difficult times, but not without leaving them permanently disabled.

Come be entertained by The Improv Shop for just $5 and help this family recover from the flood. January 29th, 8pm at the Improv Shop, 510 N. Euclid, St. Louis, MO 63108
