Wild Edibles For Fall And Winter says
From Our Backyard to Yours – Indoor Classes With Experts from Forest Park Forever

Like spring and summer, fall brings us a bounty of wild edibles. During winter there is not an abundance of wild edibles, but there are some nutrients to be found. Come learn to identify some of the common seasonal, wild edibles found in Missouri. In this class we will take a look at some of the available bounty that fall and winter provides us with. We will discuss tips for foraging, plant identification, and some processing techniques. There will also be the opportunity to sample some treats. (Taught by Crystal Camp & Theo Smith)

All classes are held in the Learning Lab Classroom of the Dennis and Judith Jones Visitor & Education Center. Free and open to the public!

To register, please email FPF Education Coordinator Jean Turney at jturney@forestparkforever.org. Space is limited, so please register early.
