Working Women of Tampa Bay invites you to our May Power Lunch at Doubletree Suites on Rocky Point. Christine Mendonça is the founder of Shore to Shore Advisory, an impact investment advisory firm. She'll share why more and more investors are backing women-owned businesses who have positive social impact on their communities.

As the proverb goes, women hold up half the sky. According to Nielsen Research, "Women have tremendous spending power in America today—and it’s growing. Market estimates our total purchasing prowess varies, ranging anywhere from $5 trillion to $15 trillion annually. Women are outpacing men when it comes to starting their own businesses.

Companies and investors are looking for businesses that are doing things the right way, morally and ethically above board. They are also looking to invest in women. As an advisor to corporations, family offices and foundations, Christine works to connect and fund businesses that are making a positive impact on their community. There are ways every woman entrepreneur can position herself to capitalize on the opportunity at hand. Christine will share how!
