Events happening at Time Out Market New York

Because not everybody loves February 14th.

Kick off Valentine’s Day weekend with a night built for fun, freedom, vibes and a little harmless mischief. Time Out Market New York, Brooklyn, is hosting a pre-V Day party for all lovers, whether you’re boo’d up, situationship-ed, single or truly embody the status of “it’s complicated.”

No matter how you define the relationship, this is your night to dance, drink and not take love too seriously. DJ Price Is Right will be setting the tone for a night of fun and flirting, with R&B slow burns, hip-hop party classics and afrobeats.

And, if you need a break from the dance floor, we've got a lineup of signature cocktails just for the party. 

The party starts at 7pm on Friday, February 13. The party is free, so come shake it off with your boyfriend or your bestie (or your boyfriend's bestie). We won't tell.

Puppetsburg will be hosting two free shows at the Market Twice a Month. The show includes dancing, instruments and bubble time. Kids can even play dress up and get one-on-one time with their cast of handmade puppets, including their "celebrity" puppets like Greta Thunberg, Frida Kahlo and Bob Dylan. More than just a fun time, the show regularly explores concepts suitable for children, such as counting, simple vocabulary and hygiene. Puppetsburg is a uniquely contemporary puppet show that is entertaining for infants, toddlers and parents alike.

Tickets are free and are only required for kids and adults. Only one adult per child, please.

Enjoy an intimate evening of jazz and wine with Danny Jonokuchi & The Revisionists every other Tuesday night. From 7 to 10pm, hear tunes from the band that won the inaugural Count Basie Great American Swing Contest for its virtual performance of “One O’Clock Jump,” the award-winning track from its “Late Night Basie” album. The Revisionists have gotten people dancing across the city and abroad, including at Lincoln Center, The Rainbow Room, Dizzy’s Club - Jazz at Lincoln Center, The MET, The Guggenheim, Sony Hall, The Ziegfeld Ballroom, City Winery, The Plaza Hotel, The Swing Remix, The historic Abyssinian Church and The Django. What better way to make it through your week than a night out with drink and dancing?

Get ready for an electrifying night every Wednesday with the renowned Soul in the Horn, which will host “Soul Records Laboratory" at Time Out Market.

This music series will feature hot and up-and-coming DJs who'll spin jams so you can dance all night (8pm-midnight) with views of the NYC skyline, enjoy specialty cocktails by Grey Goose and eat good food.

Friday Night Vibes gets the party going on the fifth floor at 7pm with tunes from DJ Stretch (on the first and third Friday of every month) and DJ Price Is Right (on the second and fourth Friday). Dance the night away with specialty cocktails from the Market’s awesome bar and grab bites from some of our 19 kitchens including, Tanoreen, Bark Barbecue and Mori Mori.

Enjoy it all to the incredible views of the East River, the NYC skyline and the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. 

Make Friday even better with your favorite card or board game while catching NBA action on the giant projector screen.

From 10pm to 2am this Saturday, DJ LSJ Presents Noise Complaint with special guests.

Dance to hip-hop, RnB, Afro beats, Latin mix and more while enjoying drink specials from Cazadores Tequilla, which is sponsoring the event. (Jello Shots will also be available!) Work up your appetite on the dance floor and enjoy the Market's incredible food vendors all night.
