Opening in Fall 2025, Time Out Market Union Square will showcase a handpicked lineup of New York’s culinary stars, hidden gems, and up-and-coming talent—offering a true taste of the city’s diverse food scene in a vibrant communal space. Located at 124 East 14th Street, just steps from Union Square Park and major subway lines, the 20,000+ sq ft destination will feature multiple kitchens, craft cocktail bars, dessert concepts, and cultural activations that capture the energy and flavor of NYC.

What is Time Out Market?
Here’s the idea: we pick out the best chefs, bartenders and cultural goings-on from across the city. Then we bring them all together under one roof to create an IRL tasting menu of the very best stuff in town.
We started with Time Out Market Lisbon in 2014, and since then we’ve opened in ten other cities. And now Time Out Market has landed right here in Union Square! Our second Market in New York, this is the first time we've had two locations in the same city.
Where is Time Out Market Union Square located?
You’ll find Time Out Market Union Square in one of Manhattan’s most iconic neighborhoods, just steps from Union Square Park. Surrounded by shops, bars, theaters, and NYC’s busiest transit hub, Union Square is a vibrant gathering place for locals, students, and visitors alike.
The Market is conveniently located on East 14th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues—right above the Union Square–14th Street subway station and just a short walk from NYU, the Strand Bookstore, and the city’s famous Greenmarket.

What are the opening hours?
Time Out Market Union Square is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Whether you're grabbing a morning coffee, meeting friends for lunch, or staying late for cocktails and bites, we’re here all day, every day.
Is there parking available?
While the Market doesn’t have on-site parking, there are several public garages and metered spaces nearby. We recommend using public transit—the Union Square–14th Street station is served by the L, N, Q, R, W, 4, 5, and 6 trains, making it one of the most accessible locations in the city.
Is Time Out Market Union Square family-friendly?
Absolutely. Our communal seating makes it easy for families and groups to dine together, and many of our vendors offer kid-friendly options for even the pickiest eaters.
Do you offer vegan or gluten-free options?
Yes! With a diverse lineup of chefs and cuisines, you’ll find plenty of choices for plant-based, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets. Just ask the vendor teams if you have any specific dietary needs—they’re happy to help.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Of course! Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Market. Just sign in when you arrive and stay connected while you eat, work, or scroll.
Can I make a reservation?
Time Out Market Union Square is a casual food hall with plenty of communal seating—no reservation needed! Just come as you are.

Only service animals are allowed inside the Market. If we offer outdoor seating, pets are welcome to join you there.
Can I pay with cash?
Yes, Time Out Market Union Square accepts US Dollars but only at our bar. Please use a card to pay for food. We accept all major credit and debit cards, along with mobile payment options like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
How do I order food and drinks?
Each kitchen has its own counter. Browse the menu above the counter, place your order, and pay with your card or phone. You’ll receive a buzzer or notification when your food is ready—then grab a seat and enjoy! Want to skip the lines? Scan the QR code on your table and get your food delivered directly to you.
Do you offer delivery or takeout?
Some vendors will happily package your meal for takeaway. We’ve partnered exclusively with GrubHub for delivery around New York City.
Are the bars open at the same time as the kitchens?
Yes! The bars operate alongside the kitchens, offering everything from classic cocktails and craft beer to wine and seasonal specials. Just make sure to place your last orders 30 minutes before closing time.
Is there entertainment for kids or families?
